Gluten-Free Elf Donuts

December 21, 2014 Katrina

Look at what the kids made today...tiny donuts for Santa's elves that are so small they fit in an Altoids tin!  They are gluten-free & dairy-free, and we got the idea from the American Girl magazine.  It's so easy, cute, and fun!  Here is how we did it...

Tips

We used an empty Altoid's candy tin and cut parchment paper for the liner.

Ready, Set, Go!

Whole O's cereal (Nature's Path brand), gluten-free
powered sugar
sprinkles
frosting

Roll some O's cereal in powered sugar and dip some in frosting and then in colored sprinkles.  The girls had a blast as they let their imaginations run wild coming up with different elf donut creations.  It was a great activity for the kids and a fun change from decorating cookies.  I think the elves will be happy!
